About Me

Welcome to my life!  My hope is that my stories and experiences will be encouraging to you. (and entertaining as well!) I am a Wife, Mom, Writer and a Public Relations Practitioner. I have a long-term/lifelong goal of becoming a published author and public speaker!

I have many different hobbies and interests. I love to read just about anything I can get my hands on. I am very involved in my church and my faith in God has seen me through some very tough times. I have struggled with (and have overcome) addiction, depression, and ADHD (Though, I should say I am still overcoming these things, as this is a lifelong process). I give all the credit to Jesus, I could do nothing without HIM! I keep myself well by turning my life over to God daily, and by being involved in Celebrate Recovery.

I was once told by a doctor that I would have a difficult time ever conceiving a child. My husband and I prayed so very hard, went through a long and difficult journey (including fertility treatments, procedures, and a miscarriage), and then FINALLY had a miracle baby in April 2011. Eighteen months later we were blessed with ANOTHER miracle baby! When I started this blog, I really did not have any intention of making it into a Mommy blog, but at times, that IS what it IS.

Although I have many interests, hobbies, and pursuits, God is first in my life, and my first ministry is to my family. I have a loving husband and two very energetic little boys. I love my family so much and it is a joy to serve them (in the spirit of Titus 2 and Proverbs 31!)  Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Please leave me a comment and let me know you were here! Comments make me smile inside and out. 🙂
